In honor of Cassie we are holding an event to celebrate her life one year after the tragic accident that took her life. Cassie was a pure soul and illuminating light in all the lives she touched. She cared deeply for animals and the Cassie's Cause event is meant to serve as a reminder of her remarkable spirit by honoring her love of animals.
Collect much needed supplies
Get involved and start a collection for the Humane Society. Encourage your friends and family to donate by placing a donation box at your school, job or place of worship. Please help us reach our goal and donate today. All funds collected will go directly to the Broward County Humane Society. As an independent non-profit organization, the Humane Society relies on the generosity of the community to fund their operations and programs budget.

CASSIE TIANNA TORRES
Cassie was a young girl whose tender spirit & kind heart touched everyone who knew her. She had a passion for life, cherished her family & friends, loved Disney & had a deep compassion for animals. On November 12th, 2018 Cassie was tragically hit by a car & killed while riding her bicycle on Taft Street. Her passing has left us with a profound emptiness in our hearts but also a commitment to Cassie’s memory to do something to honor her sweet and loving nature. Cassie's Cause is a fundraising effort & event whose sole purpose is to leave a legacy for Cassie's life. We have chosen to raise much needed funds and supplies for the Broward Humane Society so Cassie's love of animals lives on in her name.
